Petrols are smooth but less punchy. Diesels have good torque and these days both engines are refined, maintainance reason is a myth. Mileage in petrol is single digit in city. No matter what these companies claims. And it is very fluctuating based on how you drive. Diesels are constant relatively. So it keeps your heart Happy.
