Hyundai Xcent, a refreshed Grand i10 with a boot

Just a couple of hours ago, I test drove the Hyundai Xcent and being a car fanatic I would love to share my views. The front and side profile reminds more of the hatch sibling (Grand i10) while the rear is where all the difference kicks in. Feature wise, sorry to say, Xcent again gives you a feel driving the hatch, as it too includes the rear Ac vents, side blinker on the power ORVMs, key-less entry along with push button start. In the top-end variant, the music system do comes with bluetooth connectivity and steering mounted controls helps in choosing your favorable music track even while driving in busy roads. Driving wise, the small petrol engine of 1197cc does justice in developing a favorable power output and the important thing is that you can feel the throttle just a little push from your feet. While the diesel engine is a bit of bitter experience. The 1.1-litre engine is slightly small for a compact sedan, and I think it hardly developed power more than 75bhp. But its good that the petrol model do comes with an option of automatic transmission. At last, I would say its a nice car but do take a test drive for couple of blocks before making any decision, else Grand i10 Asta is the best, though its a hatch, but its the best.
