I have been using Alto 800 for the past 2 years and so far i am happy with its performance and maintenance, some drawbacks are the lack of power and interior space, its a good city car with decent mileage.the color of my car is granite Grey and the built quality is average. the tires are of 12 inches and has good ground clearance. The seats lacks support and comfort.Over all it is a good family car, it is easy to park and good control at high speeds but breaking is little bit poor.The central console houses music system and air conditioning dials. The compact tachometer and diver information housing looks stylish and fresh. It gets semi-bucket seats with integrated headrests are both comfortable and does the job of keeping you in place. There is ample headroom and legroom for every passenger. The boot is also functional and a respectable amount of luggage could be packed inside it.Maruti Alto 800 is an upgraded version of legendary car Alto. The Alto 800 comes with a completely new exterior and interiors, however the platform and engine has been retained. Thus it is the same trustworthy product, which is serving Indian middle class over a decade. The F8D engine of the car has been improved a bit; the legendary engine has been powering Maruti Alto and is the biggest reason behind its success. Changes include the use of a plastic intake instead of an aluminium one, a lightened crankshaft and connecting rod, new low friction bearings, new low tension piston rings and short skirt pistons.
