A premium hatchback from Maruti, Maruti Ritz will be launched in India by the month of June this year. The Ritz model will be launched with an engine of 1200 CC which is a four cylinder inline engine. After the success of the small hatchback models in India many companies are planning to launch a small hatchback model in India. India is the home of large number of middle class families and the income of middle class is rising by a good margin. Because of this rise in income there is a tremendous opportunity in Indian automobile sector. The Maruti Ritz model is coming with a basic C pillar design and it is expected that this model will be launched with next generation features as well as fuel efficient engine. The price of the model will be around Rs 4 lakh in India. Because the Maruti Ritz model will be launched in the same range as the Maruti Swift model so it is expected the Maruti Ritz model will follow the same trend as the Maruti Swift and it is possible that the basic design of both of the models will remain same.
