मारुति ओमनी A Multipurpose Vehicle At A Cheap कीमत
The sole car which has been on a multipurpose mission for a long time from Maruti's portfolio is none other than Omni van. We have been seeing this Van serving schools, hospitals, family and even acting as a commercial transport vehicle. Omni is the simple, big family transport at its cheapest best. It's an affordable and frugal urban van for families and taxi operators and despite being a very old car, the vehicle still sells in good numbers, after all the trust of Maruti is its backbone till date. Over the years, Omni has undergone numerous changes but still seems to be quite dated in terms of looks. The vehicle has a boxy appearance and gets least styling elements. Omni gets black bumpers in front and rear, rectangular headlamps, square-like wheel arches and sliding doors. Inside the cabin, dashboard gets cup holders and space for other utility items. The comfort of air condition is missing due to the layout of the cabin, so for longer journeys in summers, this is not the car to travel in. Omni is available with five and eight seat layout while the seats are covered with dual tone upholstery. Luggage space is hampered in eight seat variant due to the addition of the third row. In terms of specification, Omni is powered by the 796cc mill that is capable of generating the power output of 34bhp and yields the peak torque of 59Nm, enough to move people and goods in the cities with ease. The most interesting aspect is the cheap price tag of Rs. 2.63 lakh, one of the key reasons why this car is still popular among Indians.
