Hyundai Motors India Private Limited has officially launched the much awaited compact sedan, Xcent in the country. The company is offering this latest vehicle in numerous trim levels among which, the Hyundai Xcent 1.2 Kappa AT S Option is the mid level petrol variant. The company equipped this vehicle with a 1.2-litre petrol engine and paired it with a 4-speed automatic transmission gearbox. Despite being an automatic version, it is capable of giving an impressive mileage of 19.1 Kmpl, which is decent. On the other hand, the car maker is offering this trim with an optional package, which includes an anti-lock braking system and a classy set of 14-inch alloy wheels. The exteriors and interiors of this compact sedan looks quite modern and it will certainly attract the buyers. This vehicle comes equipped with number of features such as a manual AC unit, 2-DIN audio system with multi-functional steering wheel, central locking system, fabric seats, multi-information display, rear parking sensors and much more. Apart from these, it also comes with rear seat center armrest with cup holders, rear defogger, key less entry function and other advanced features. This newly introduced compact sedan comes on the same platform on which the Grand i10 hatch was built. To begin with, the front profile of this sedan comes fitted with body colored bumper that has trapezoidal air intake section with chrome surround. The front bumper also comes with a pair of dynamic fog lights, which will enhance the visibility ahead under foggy conditions. Just above the air dam, there is sleekly designed chrome garnished radiator grille fitted with the company's insignia. This grille is surrounded by the swept-back design headlight cluster, which is incorporated with powerful halogen lamps and turn indicators. On the side profile, the window sills and the B-Pillars have been coated with black color while the door handles along with ORVM caps have been painted with body color. It has a displacement capacity of 1197cc , which allows it to produce a power of 81.86Bhp at 6000rpm that results in generating commanding torque of 113.75Nm at 4000rpm.
