It is a very good car to drive and excellent looks. It's my dream vehicle. When I drive I feel very happy and many people want to sit in my Safari. The average is low but we can say this Safari is king of all SUV.

First of all i want to start my review with the looks of the Safari . When every time i look onto my Safari i always fell in love with the beastly SUV beauty .As Safari has strong road presence and it is the love of many Indians . From my childhood i always wanted to own a Safari. When you get inside this vehicle you feel more comfort and space then any other SUV of its class . Ride quality of this vehicle is fantastic and you will get good confidence when cruising on high Speeds. As far as fuel economy is concerned it is satisfactory as compared to size of vehicle as it provides an average of 12-13 Kmpl . Also the best thing is after sales services provided by TATA is very good . And of course the TATA spare parts are much cheaper then any other automobile company. But there are some darker sides of this beastly SUV . So i am writing the Pros and Cons that i experienced in my Safari ::TATA Safari Pros ::1 Good looks .2 Spacious and comfortable .3 Reasonable Price .4 Great power .5 After sales services is good .6 Cheaper spare parts .7 Great confidence while driving on high speeds .8 Good view of outside due to larger windows .9 Mileage is good .10 AC is superb .Cons of TATA Safari ::1 Life of vehicle is less .2 Poor resale value .3 Lack of instruments in the cabin .4 Lager turning radius . 5 Rusting problem is also there in some areas of vehicle like in the back door 6 Suspension issues in every 50 thousand run of the vehicle .7 Instrument buttons starts breaking after a year of 2 .So in the last i just want to say that people buy Safari because of its great looks and reasonable price but TATA should improve the grey areas of vehicle . And in the last if you want a good SUV in 10 lakhs rupees range just go for Safari .

I bought the SUV(Safari Dicor 2.2) impressed by its space, comfort and its legendary cross country cruising capabilities.The power of the car when we go to hill stations is too good and when we are into long drives car doesn't make any much of a sound or engine issues.The Elephant Like Safari Cant Run on such a low power engine it should be at least 2.6 turbo charged.The power window units are sad and needs replacement often since they come loose. On the whole all the parts in the Cabin are pretty sad. First time I looked at the mileage, I could not believe it. It gave about 11 kmph even with higher power, whereas I had never seen(remember, it was 2008) an SUV give more than 10. It has been consistent in > 10 mileage till now.The reliability has been fantastic. Barring an inside bulb cover which fell( and I fixed it with fevicol) nothing has gone wrong and the vehicle has been in workshop only for routine maintenance.this is awesome car i love it i always

Tata Safari is indeed a powerful car SUV. But again the problem lies with its design. The interior being so ordinary that it looks as if u are driving an ordinary jeep. Also, its performance got deteriorated after it went past 1 year and maintenance cost is the way to high. Normally we don't get to see the ideal mechanics for this and I have myself seen the worst services by the company service centers. Not even single time, I went from there without complaining. If the interior gets a bit good, then one can expect of gaining customers. Hope they should improve at such a high price SUV.

Tata safari very easy to drive and good pickup, easy to off-riding, vry cool look. if u drive tata safri u filing like a king on road.

Look and Style The Best looking Suv, undoutedly. A true Macho looking real butch, real suv, not like Duster or Eco sport that are bassically car's in jeep body. they are toys compared to a Tata Safari 2.2 Dicor the Real Suv. Comfort Amazing comfort even as compared to a Audi Q 5 or BMW X5 , safari beats them is seating comfort. Pickup Awsome I have driven my safari to a speed of 170 kmph. Mileage give about 10 to 11 in city. Best Features Looks, space, comfort, pick up. you just don't feel small pot holes & bumps. Needs to improve the plastic quality Overall Experience awsome, awsome, awsome the best value for money car.
