I was very excited to get the first AMT tiago car in Delhi this year but it feels this was the biggest mistake I made to choose the TATA car. My car almost completed 4000 Kms on ODO, and last friday on 26 May it stopped in the middle of the road where the temp was around 45 in Delhi.The emergency helpline person turn up, blew some air and said if the car breakdown again, then the car will be towed to the dealership to diagnose. As expected, the car again broke down in middle of ring road and this time crane reach after 1 Hr. The car was taken to dealership and crane person insisted my to go with him, which I denied due to excess summer heat. I had to call the dealership AUTO VIKAS, Moti Nagar,delhi to confirm if they received the car or not because they are busy people and they never call customers. I was told to collect the car next day, so again I reached the dealer workshop on 27 May. The first reason was told that the fuel seems to be adulterated, so fuel pump might not have worked properly. I clearly told them to test the fuel and show me the report. Then came the biggest surprise, the service advisor told that my car is absolutely fine and he has fixed all the problems. I repeatedly asked for reason, he told that he cleaned the pump and he will not replace it as it will be debited to dealer if this is working fine. I asked him 10 times what is it really safe to drive now, because I have to travel 250 Kms outstation on sunday. He verbally assured me that the car is perfectly fine and I can take the car. Next day I took the car to my destination and while returning back, the car again stopped on the middle to highway. It was a deserted highway and my family was really worried as the car was unmovable.The third time car stopped in middle of road. I called emergency helpline, one person came and told me that car needs to be towed around 40 kms from Barwala(haryana) to Hissar, but workshop is closed, to I come next day to check. I had no option than to book a taxi and tow the car to Delhi(home). This time I paid 5000 rs for towing. I and my family has lost total faith in the car. The service center are useless. Sorry to say, but this TATA Motors casual attitude and skills are still making things worse. I have totally lost the trust in the tiago car and the brand. I would request you to take is car back. or replace the car.
