As Tata had bought Landrover and Jaguar new cars of Tata are now designed on Landrover and Jaguar platform. Tiago is also based on this platform so the engine of Tiago is excellent! It has a very refined engine and better than Maruti swift. Seats of Tiago is well cushioned and very comfortable. Steering is very light and easy to hold. Feedback from Gearbox is absolutely brilliant. Power delivered by this engine is also good. In words, it has a very small engine, but while driving you won't ever feel it small as the engine is so refined! Maintenance of this car is also low. It has a big boot which can carry lots of luggage. Doors have a big pocket to hold a 1-liter water bottle and from inside it is a very practical place to be in. Legroom is just decent. And this car has a great mileage of 18-19kmpl on road. The suspension is decent and you don't feel inconvenience on off road. Build quality is tough and good. Things that I don't like is its look. It may have a better look that might attract the buyers of Maruti Swift. Afterall it is a very nice package with the best refinement and cushioned seats at this price point in this segment. If you like its look than must buy this car as you wouldn't get such refinement and cushioned seats in this range!
