Among the varied automobiles of Chevrolet India, Enjoy is their spacious multipurpose vehicle. The company has launched its updated version with a few changes in the market to give it a refurbished look. It is now available with a few updated features like B-pillar styling tape, rear license plate with chrome garnish and a few other interior aspects as well. It is being sold in the same line up, among them Chevrolet Enjoy 1.4 LS 7 is the entry level trim. This vehicle is bestowed with a spacious cabin along with all vital safety features and a powerful engine, which is good enough for attracting the buyers. The internal cabin is incorporated with well cushioned seats, which are covered with premium upholstery. The rear seats have split foldable function that helps in increasing the boot volume. It is powered by a 1.4-litre petrol engine, which comes with a displacement capacity of 1399cc. This DOHC based engine has the ability of churning out a maximum power of 98.8bhp in combination with 131Nm. This engine is skillfully mated with a five speed manual transmission gear box. It is being offered with a standard warranty of three years or 100000 Kilometers (whichever is earlier) from the date of purchase. At the same time, the owners can extend this period by twenty four months or one lakh Kilometers at a nominal cost paid to authorized dealers. 

Exteriors:

The company has given this multipurpose vehicle a lot of striking features, which makes it one of the good looking vehicles in its segment. To begin with the side profile, it is quite sleek and designed with a new B pillar styling strip, which gives it a decent look. The door handles and outside rear view mirrors are painted in body color. It has neatly crafted wheel arches, which are equipped with a sturdy set of steel wheels. These rims are further fitted with tubeless radial tyres, which have a superior road grip. Coming to its rear end, it comes with a large windshield that is integrated with a centrally located high mounted stop lamp. The tail gate boot is designed with a body colored strip and embedded with variant badging as well. The body colored bumper is equipped with a pair of bright reflectors, which adds to the safety quotient. The radiant tail light cluster is powered by halogen based brake lights, reverse lamps and side turn indicators. The dual tone color scheme is impressive and this trim is further incorporated with a number of standard features. The seating arrangement is very comfortable and provides ample leg space and head room for the passengers sitting inside. All the seats are covered with premium upholstery. Its smooth dashboard features AC vents, an instrument panel with quite a few functions, a large glove box for keeping a few small things at hand, and a three spoke steering wheel. Its instrument panel features all vital information, which keeps the driver updated. This SUV has a lot of utility based aspects like cup holders in front console, remote fuel lid opener, front seat back pockets, power windows and many other such aspects. It has a spacious boot compartment of 190 litres, which can be increased up to 630 litres by folding its rear seat. Engine and Performance:

This variant is equipped with a 1.4-litre SMARTECH petrol engine under the hood, which comes with a displacement capacity of 1399cc. It is integrated with a multi point fuel injection system that helps in generating 13.7 Kmpl on the highways. At the same time, it gives out 9.5 Kmpl approximately within the city. This engine has four cylinders that are further fitted with sixteen valves and is based on a double overhead camshaft valve configuration. This motor has the ability to churn out a maximum power of 98.8bhp at 6000rpm and at the same time, generates a peak torque output of 131Nm at 4400rpm. It is coupled with a five speed manual transmission gear box, which sends the engine power to its front wheels. 

Braking and Handling:

The efficient braking system comprise of sturdy disc brakes, which are fitted to its front wheels, while a conventional set of drum brakes to its rear. On the other hand, its proficient suspension system helps in maintaining its stability on any road conditions, while ensuring a smooth driving experience. Its front axle is assembled with a McPherson strut, while the rear one gets a multi link coil spring type of system. Both these axles are further assisted by twin tube gas filled shock absorbers, which further boosts this mechanism. It is incorporated with a power assisted steering system that has tilt adjustment function. This results in convenient handling, while making it easier for the driver to maneuver even in peak traffic.

This entry level variant is equipped with quite a few comfort features along with utility aspects. The cabin is incorporated with an air conditioning unit, which also has a heater and rear AC vents for cooling the cabin quickly. In addition to this, it also has all four power windows, sun visors with vanity mirror on passenger side, central door locking, day and night interior rear view mirror, double folding third row seat, front row height adjustable head restraints, tachometer, front and rear courtesy lamp, digital clock, headlamp leveling device and many other such aspects. 

Safety and Security:

It is incorporated with seat belts for all its occupants along with driver seat belt reminder notification on instrument panel. This vehicle is bestowed with a disc and drum braking mechanism that is quite efficient and helps to keep it under control. Apart from these, it also has a features like door ajar warning lamp, rear doors with child protection, dual horn, centrally located high mounted stop lamp and so on. It has a safe cage body structure with crumple zones and side impact beams that helps in keeping the occupants safe in case of accidents.
