This is a review on XV safety Micra active which is 5.5 yrs old plus 70k km driven. Pros - effortless car to drive, good AC, no noise, good safety and braking, AVG per km is 18.2. still using original tires, good features like speed sensing for locks, ABS & EBD. Decent boot space. Cons - low ground clearance despite have 14" rims. Service cost has increased,

I have a Nissan Micra active xl petrol. Very nice car smoothly drive and batter millage and good service provide by Nissan dealers but car's ground clearance is very bad it is no good perform at Indian roads.

Nissan Micra car good, on driving this car it feels like comfort and most of all I trust in this brand. It features are too good and our customer service also good.

Nissan Micra Active is the best hatchback car in this range and the brand has a very good service network.

When you choose nissan micra active, it is only for the reason they have it in competitive price. I agree this vehicle is good except one thing , that is mileage. Everywhere it is projected that this vehicle gives atleast 14 kmpl in city. In my experience after using for 2 years found that it never comes up from 12 kmpl in city. Even now the service guys are keep on telling, it will increase after driving for few more thousand kilometers. Note: My above observations are not based on the dashboard meter. Everytime i took reading with full tank and calculated. It is not good to cheat the customers even after 2 years usage. They have to agree with the truth.

I was in the market to buy a value for money car, within a budget of 6 lacs. After test driving almost every car in the market, I narrowed down on the Honda Brio and Nissan Micra. I wasn't going for Maruti or Hyundai models due to their poor build quality in this budget - evident from the extremely poor Euro NCAP crash test results.The pros of this Car?(+) Premium fit and finish: the interiors are not the most good looking but they do look like they will last for a long time.(+) Looks: Okay some people consider the car to be feminine-looking, but I actually like the looks. The dominance of round/circular elements in the design have lead to her name - Bubbles!(+) excellent interior quality + space: 1.5 years/25,000 kms and no rattles or squeaks absolutely.(+) good handling, ride quality: easily takes in most potholes/road problems, unlike most other cars in this range that bottom out.(+) no compromise on safety features: Airbags, ABS, Electronic Brake Distribution, Brake Assist = 4/5 star EuroNcap rating.(+) easy on maintenance: Have not spent more than 3000 rupees on any servicing visits to the authorised dealership.(+)Mileage: I return more than 13kmpl, in the worst of Delhi-Gurgaon office traffic.Now for the Cons:(-) The tyres: a wider set of tyres (175/185 instead of the current 165s) can help further improve comfort and handling. Will be upgrading as soon as I am done with the original set. Also, Alloys are not even an option on the top model!(-) Not the most fun car to drive: This is a car built to be driven sedately. The engine is just not tuned/doesn't have the energy to be driven fast.Most people would not consider the car because they don't know Nissan. But if you can overlook that lack of Brand recognition, this is a great car to go for. Also, Nissan has been making serious efforts to improve in the areas of service and customer relationship. I've seen a marked improvement since the time I bought the car.

I purchased Nissan Micra Active 8 months back. I am satisfied with performance of the car and service provided by vendor. Car is Fuel efficient very well comfort and nice for long drive. If you are looking small car in less budget this really good option.

It's a good car for city driving but not for the highways. It gives an average mileage of 11-12 km/L in city and 14-15Km/L in Highways. It has been more than 20,000 Kms and it still is not achieving the company claimed mileage. The suspension is not stiff, it reacts to every tiny little bump and pot hole and same continues even on rough roads. It has a top speed of 170Km/L, the engine sound is low but still the noise enters the cabin. Good music system but good pickup at low RPM (after 2nd servicing). Bad Aerodynamics, it is only meant for city driving. Overall, a good car for city or local driving. It's a good choice for college kids.
