    Great Balance
The new Verna 4S the face-lift model of the Fluidic version that was launched in 2011. The front looks a lot like the Sonata and other than that, nothing much has changed in the car. Interiors are carried over as well and have minor updates. They look good but don't offer the same space as most of the rivals (City and Ciaz for example). Also, rear air-con vents are still missing on the update. The Verna 4S continues to be powered by four engine options: 1.4-litre petrol - manual only 1.4-litre diesel - manual only 1.6-litre petrol - manual and automatic 1.6-litre diesel - manual and automatic The engines remain unchanged and we test drove the largest selling option, the 1.6 diesel. Hyundai has worked the low end punch of the engine (response at lower rpm) and the new Verna now feels slightly more eager in slow moving traffic. Outright acceleration remains impressive. Noise levels are well controlled too. On the inside, the Verna 4S features a high quality interior as seen in almost all of the Hyundai these days. The two-tone design theme with darker upper parts is a nice touch whereas the faux wooden inserts impart a classy look without being tacky. In terms of comfort and space, while the front seats offer adequate support, the rear bench feels a tad cramped in comparison to some of the rivals. Also, missing rear air-con vents are a complete letdown for a car in this segment. The front fascia of the Verna 4S adorns a dominating wing shaped grille with two horizontal chrome slots, new bigger Sonata-esque headlamps with projectors and revised bumper with Boomerang shaped fog lamps. All of the design bits gel in together perfectly, imparting a premium look to the vehicle. The addition of tastefully designed 16 diamond cut alloy wheels for the higher versions is again looks attractive. Apart from the front, the rest of the design has not changed much from previous year model, although, the rear bumper is now revised with integrated reflectors and a blackened lower part. The tail lamps have been changed slightly to impart an LED effect, too. Overall, the Verna 4S is a contemporary design that will be a hit among young buyers for sure!

Hyundai Verna, outstanding features at reasonable price
I bought Hyundai Verna 1.4 VTVT last year end, depending on its look which I found best in this segment, I feel renowned company like Hyundai can never make a low end vehicle, of course the taste of customer has to be satisfied to it?s fullest, Verna has a very attractive body design with metallic line finishing both the sides, it also has chrome plated grills at the front which makes the front look stunning, black angular head lamps gives the vehicle unique look , the rear bumper is bit large, but the raised rear bonnet makes the vehicle more appealing. The semi-circular roof is designed very cleverly as the person?s height increase he will shift the seat back for leg adjustment at the same time height above head also increase due to semi-circular roof design. Vehicle has sufficient ground clearance and a very nice suspension which never lets the body of car touch the bottom with five people inside. It has very good front bonnet design and the seat height gives a very clear front view. Hyundai Verna base model has dual tone interior which makes the vehicle very attractive from inside, being non fabric makes it to clean and maintain easily, the door pockets and pockets provided at bottom along with gear lever console people can use for milk packets, breads or packet food. It does not come with leather seat cover but little negotiation with dealer one can get it. Four front AC vents are sufficient to cool the vehicle within 3-4 minutes. Dash board display is amazing it makes the person to see all the parameters very easily without any difficulty, gear shifting indicator always guides the driver to run in proper gear for better power as well as better fuel economy. The dash board panel intensity is such that it never put stress on eyes. It automatically adjusts intensity depending on daytime/night. Back seats are although bench seats but too comfortable in sedan class, it has folding arm rest with cup holders one can use to put tea or cold drink. Leg room is also sufficient. Base model does not contain any infotainment system but no need to invest huge to get higher version for just infotainment system, I got 2-Din Sony 6.5 inch touch screen multimedia with Bluetooth fixed at price 15000 Rs only which has the rear camera connectivity, it has audio, video, Aux, USB and FM radio playing facilities, It goes well along with the inbuilt speakers of car which has huge bass boosters provided in the vehicle from the manufacturer itself, so no extra cost is incurred in the installation of new speakers. Performance of vehicle can be rated as very good as I am getting a mileage of 14 kilometre per litre in city as identical to small hatch back cars, whereas my friends having Honda City and Skoda they are getting little less though depending on parameters such as way of driving and road conditions. Gear shifting is very smooth, steering is very stable and can be moved with finger which makes this vehicle comfortable for parking or better cut in crowd. This vehicle looks big but gets handled like small car. I drove my vehicle in highway at speed of 80-100 kmph, it was fully balanced, smooth and got a mileage of 17 plus. For engine performance I would like to say it is good in city with five person inside, no frequent gear change is required vehicle is so smooth one can go up to 30 km/hr in second gear without any hitches. I feel for power there is no limitation, one need to spend more money and fuel if more and more power is required then one should certainly go for much higher end brands like Mercedes, Audi or BMW but at a cost of less than ten lakh Hyundai Verna to me seems the best option. This vehicle has quick response to accelerator paddle. Brakes with ABS and EBD makes the vehicle braking fully balanced when braking at high speed also. It has many safety features like air bags, ABS with EBD, no start of engine if clutch is not pressed, steering locking with wheels straight, all five safety belts, safety belt wearing buzzer, door lock indicator, child lock etc. Finishing protective touches given to the vehicle body is very good, I got Teflon coating on body and antirust coating in bottom by the dealer in the same price. I found few times vehicle rubbed against other vehicle but did not get scratch due to Teflon coating. Hyundai gave offer Rs 50K on vehicle and extra Rs 50K for exchange bonus summing to a total of Rs1 lakh saving for Verna 1.4 VTVT, which I got to purchase my vehicle. If one can get all four power windows, power & adjustable steering, two air bags, brakes with ABS and EBD, manual central lock, micro hybrid antenna, four speakers, 1.4 litre petrol engine in Base model and only extra 25K required for infotainment [double din, gps, rear camera] then to me there seems no reason to buy some other vehicle in this segment.

    Hyundai Verna After 6 months
I am using Hyundai Verna 1.4 CRDi (Diesel ) for last 6 months. I have chosen this one because of its looks and boot space. I am happy with the boot space It can carry 3 large travel bag and the driver and co-driver seat and leg space are very nice. but unfortunately it provides less space in the back seat which is large is size and can provide leg support but it has very less leg room but again the head room is ok. It is very fule efficient I used to get around 12.3 KM/Lt and I always keep my ac on .regarding driving experience It has the best steering control and brake clutch padel. But I am not happy with the gear leaver it is slightly heavy to pull . The engine provides enough torque and you can easily pick the speed within 4-5 seconds .In first gear, you can drive till 20km on second 40km on third 60 km and on 4th gear 80km. It provides overall great suspension while driving uneven surface or speed breaker. ABS works fine and power steering is also nice .But the seat side is lower compared to another car of this segment like Ciaz or city

Love this car for comfort ,Performance ,Look wowo what a car ... I had reviewed the Honda City and Ciaz as well but vehicle offered at price I found best for Verna. Although Honda City is accepted by people as no.1 in performance but if one goes for performance and look both together then many may give Verna priority, that is the reason many of my colleague having Honda city, desire to drive Verna due to its style. Vehicle look is not doubt admiring best in this class even Honda City owner too feel Verna has the best look, engine is too good, smooth and powerful which never makes willing to run at speed less than 60 kmph, interior is spacious. Although this variant has no multimedia and navigation system and rear parking assistance but I got fixed Sony touch screen multimedia worth Rs12500 which has FM, Aux, DVD( no blue tooth, which needs to buy a multimedia set by Sony worth Rs15500) for audio and video play, which gives excellent sound quality with speakers already provided in the vehicle, additional Rs3000 for rear parking camera and sensor and Rs 6000 for navigation system makes the vehicle complete (No need to fix anything at rear view mirror restricting its use). This vehicle has complete satisfaction for money. I got in total Rs1 lakh discount by Hyundai additional to value of my old vehicle.I hopped 1.4 must be giving more mileage as compared to 1.6, the base version has almost all mandatory features and only Rs30000 is required to make it equivalent to one level higher variant. The only problem felt by me is to use seat belt, location of seat belt is such that it needs to twist the body to get seat belt but this can be a minor issue. Till now no any servicing is done and the vehicle is giving more than 12kmpl. Vehicle has gear shift indicator which assist to run the vehicle in proper gear. AC is too strong and no rear vents does not lacks the cooling performance. Since Hyundai all vehicles are well established there should not be chances of facing any trouble in vehicle with time so the performance of vehicle may the most important. I never drove the vehicle at speed more than 80 kmph as I do not prefer too high speed, at this speed good performance is observed. Beauty of this vehicle can be increased by Chrome garnishing which is missing at some point, but this may not be an expensive, issue can be done with ease. But there is no limitation for feature and beautification but I will say this vehicle is ready to drive just from show room and nothing to do except rear parking assistance and multimedia fixing. BUY THIS ENJOY UR RIDE

    Hyundai Verna
This is the new Verna. Not all new, but a facelifted one that was introduced internationally last year, and now heading for Indian shores. Of course, Hyundai has a new name for it too  the 4S Fluidic Verna. In case you ask 4S stands for style, safety, speed and sophistication. Last year, the Verna got an update. The most significant change then, was tuning the suspension to make it less choppy for rear seat passengers. This made the ride quite pliant and comfortable. This time, the major change is to the front and rear exterior design. There is a much wider grille with chrome slats that end into an even larger pair of swept-back headlamps. DRLs (daytime running lights), however have been done away with, but you get an upmarket-looking headlight layout with focal lamps. The bumper design is also more protruding now and overall, the Verna looks much wider and bigger than before. However, the dimensions haven't changed. The wheelbase is still the same, but the new, voluptuous rear bumper has added a couple of millimetres to the overall length. While the suspension settings have been tuned further, owners of the 2014 Verna may not notice the difference immediately inside this one, though of course, older Verna owners will. The ride is comfortably pliant, although the ride is a bit noisy at low speeds. At high speeds it can pretty much run over bumps and potholes without getting unsettled, which makes the Verna an apt highway runner too. To help matters, the rear seat has been modified and is a more snug fit now. Three can sit comfortably although it doesn't look as spacious as the City yet. Hyundai however, has realised the need to focus on rear seat comfort, and apart from these changes, the new Verna also offers practical bits like cup holders in the centre armrest and rear door pockets. The steering wheel now gets telescopic adjust as well, apart from height adjust, which helps to get a more comfortable driving position. The driving feel is more or less still not in the same league as the VW Vento. It is light at low speeds and does weigh up as speed builds but offers little in feedback. However, the Verna tries hard to play game to quick lane change demandsBody roll is noticeable but the car doesn't lose composure easily. Under the hood we still get the same engines 1.4 and 1.6-litre units in both petrol and diesel option. While the petrol is mated to a five-speeder manual, the diesel gets a six-speed gearbox. All engines have been tuned for better efficiency.

Verna, a complete car in the sedan segment
I have purchased verna in the year of its launch 2011 Verna SX (o) , the top end variant with push button and leather upholstery. Have driven the car for 35000 kms. it's a superb car, very comfortable with all the high end features, very stable. looks are to die for.... amazing body lines looks like BMW from the sides of the car. The front fog lamps adds to the front look with sleek design and hyunduic fludic design adds to the further beauty of the car. Lucky to have such a wonderful machinery in my car colletions. Hyundai is now going to launch a fresh verna in 2017 with further emphasis on its looks and with further additions in the today's generation feauture. Love the car.

    Solid Body With Extraordinary performance
I Bought my hyundai verna in the month of June . From the moment i bought my car i was extremely happy that i haven't wasted my money . Coming to the car's exterior is similar to the older fluidic verna . coming to the interior, the dashboard looks rich and simple.the 2-din audio system is replaced with the new touch screen infotainment system which is really good and the "System UI" is cool . but sometimes the infotainment system hangs . Coming to the engine it's a 1.6 litre Diesel engine which produces a power of 128PS and 260Nm of torque . The car has two modes eco on and eco off Eco on is suitable for city driving which will gives us better mileage Eco off is suitable for highway driving which will give us lot of power Below 2000 RPM we will feel a little lag but after 2000 RPM its rushes like a "FERRARI" The New Verna 2016 has a shark fin, chilled glove box, auto rain sensing wipers, auto lights. The Brakes are solid and at high speeds you can have a gut feeling that this car can be slowed down easily when the brakes are applied Pros:1.6 litre Engine,Shark Fin,New Touch Infotainment System Cons: Nothing

    Perfect Car For Perfect People!!!
What is it?   This is the Hyundai Verna for 2015. Before you wonder, it's not an all-new model but a significantly updated version of the existing car. As part of the update, the Verna 4S, as Hyundai calls it, gets revised styling, a little more equipment and tweaks to the suspension.   The most visible change to the car, of course, is the new nose. The older Verna?s swept-back headlamps have made way for a more angular pair and the ridged bonnet now flows into a larger grille that has a hint of the old Toyota Corolla in it. The bumper is quite different too with reworked fog lamp housings. At the rear, streaks on the tail-lights give it a faux LED effect and the exhaust is now hidden from view to give the tail a cleaner look. While these changes do help freshen the look and link the Verna to newer Hyundai's such as the Santa Fe and i20, the car doesn?t quite make the same lasting impression it did back in 2011.   In the cabin, there?s not much evidence to suggest this is the updated car. The two-tone dashboard carries on unchanged and you still get the same high level of fit and finish. However, the blue back lighting on the audio player has begun to look a bit dated ? something newer competitors? color screens only highlight. Still, the audio player does gets a useful update with the inclusion of 1-GB on-board memory to store songs. Also new is the reach adjust function for the steering wheel and what Hyundai calls the 'Ergo Lever' that is located on the inside edge of the front passenger seat. Basically, it allows the rear passenger to move the front passenger seat forward to free up legroom and is a handy feature first offered on the Volkswagen Vento. Rear seat passengers also get a revised armrest with twin cup holders and a seat with a longer base. Correspondingly, thigh support is better but you still sit lower than you?d like and the up swept windows continue to hamper the view out. Engine and gearbox options remain the same as before, so you can choose between a 105bhp, 1.4-litre petrol engine (with a five-speed manual), a 121bhp, 1.6 petrol (with a five-speed manual or four-speed auto), a 89bhp, 1.4 diesel (with a six-speed manual) and lastly, a 126bhp, 1.6 diesel (with a six-speed manual or four-speed automatic). The diesel engines get a mild update of their own with a new, low friction coating on their pistons to improve refinement, emissions and efficiency. As per ARAI-tested figures, the 1.4 diesel?s fuel economy is up 1.3kpl (to 24.8kpl) and the 1.6?s has improved to 23.9kpl. But what should be of more interest to potential buyers are the changes that have been made to the rear suspension. There are new coil springs (there to make the ride flatter), a low velocity valve on the dampers (there to smoother rebound) and new bump stops (there to minimize the ?thud? on full compression that Verna's have been notorious for). These changes are there to build on the suspension tweaks the Verna got in mid-2013. An interesting point to note is manual Verna's no longer get rear disc brakes but ABS has been made standard across the range. What is it like to drive? Well, the updated Verna is a big improvement over the older version. The changes to the suspension have made all the difference. It feels more absorbent with that trademark tendency to bottom-out all but gone. As before, there?s a nice softness to the low-speed ride but unlike before, there?s a newfound confidence in the way the Verna behaves at high speeds. There?s more of a connect between the steering and the front wheels, something that makes the new Verna a far nicer cruiser. Compared to the earlier version, this one feels far more settled, has a flatter ride and overall stability is improved too. Still, it doesn?t feel buttoned down to the road at high speeds with a fair bit of vertical movement on gentle undulations. The fact is the Hyundai is still quite far from the ride and handling benchmarks set by the Ford Fiesta and Fiat Linea. The steering still weights up inconsistently and calls for minute but constant inputs to keep the car on the desired course. Even through tighter corners, the Verna still feels a touch soft and decidedly unsporty. More so, the petrol version, where the suspension doesn?t seem as well set up as the heavier diesel version?s. As for the engines, they feel pretty much the same as before. We drove the more powerful petrol and found it to be refined, if a bit underwhelming, in terms of performance. More so because it is the most powerful car in its class. As for the 1.6 diesel, it scores for refinement but once again doesn?t feel as strong as the power figure would lead you to expect. Power comes in after 1800 rpm and this non-linearity in delivery is a bit of an irritant in city driving. What also takes getting used to are the brakes. While stopping power is good, the ABS system kicks in way too early. The experience with this perfect car went with no issues and it felt really great having this car.
