BYD, or Build Your Dreams, has entered the passenger EV market with the Atto 3, a brand-new electric SUV. The newest electric SUV travels the SKD path to India with its brother, the E6 MPV, and adds a host of contemporary amenities, level 2 ADAS technology, and a powerful electric drivetrain.

I like the exterior features of Byd Atto 3, and to my surprise, it has some new and bold features which give it more of a premium update and style. I like the excellent fit and finish in the interior, and space wise it gives good length to every seater. Though I believe the price range is still on the higher side when compared with the range.

The price range is around 33 lacs ex-showroom, and it has a 60.48kWh battery which gives it a good range of 521kms as claimed by the company. It is good but still, I would not invest in it because there is the headache of charging it again. And due to poor infrastructure regarding charging stations, I think Atto has a long way to go.

BYD Atto 3 was a few days back when this beautiful electric vehicle was launched in the market. It has amazing headlamps and which give more of a sporty look to the car. The interjoined light stripe at the front looks a bit old and scary but the car's interior is quite spacious, and the dual-tone color still maintains the balance.

One of the best electric cars Atto 3, and the best for offroading. The mileage and comfort made this car awesome. It takes time to maintain so my best opinion is looks of the car are like a concept SUV.

For many of us Indians, BYD might be an unknown brand but it's in fact one of the largest EV and battery manufacturers in the world. They're one of the safest battery technologies out there. It's going to be a blessing for us consumers as it'll make the Indian EV market competitive and we'll see better products.
