Could have been वन of Honda's best, but not this.
We bought the Honda BRV for use as a family car when we all visit India. I got the petrol CVT as it was much easier to drive than a manual for my old legs. Pros: 1) Superb drivability in the City and highway. The CVT pulls smoothly with no jerky starts or gear changes. 2) A car like dynamics, easy to maneuver and turn. The steering weighs up very well as you speed up. 3)Unbeatable practicality compared to the rivals. Both the 2nd and 3rd rows have a recline and split option. My son used the car to move out of his apartment in one trip. 4) 3rd-row seats are actually usable, though under thigh support is a bit lacking. 5)Usable boot even with all 3 layers up. Cons: 1)Mileage is lacking. No eco button, in order to drive in the eco mode you need to accelerate gradually and keep RPMs below 2k. But in the twisty and hilly roads of Kerala, it is quite impossible. Returns an average of 11-12KPL. 2)Terribly underequipped car. No touch screen or reverse parking sensors for such a long car.No diesel automatic on offer even though Honda has the tech. It seems like this car is abandoned. 3) Thick A-pillar is a risky blind spot around curves. Stay aware. 4)The car feels cheap even with the money you pay.
