10000 Kms on the New Diesel Amaze - The mini सिटी
28th September 2018 finally purchased the Base (E) variant of new Honda Amaze. Initially, I want to go for a sub 4 SUV so test drove Vitara Brezza, Ecosport (diesel) & Honda WRV (diesel). I almost finalized Ecosport when suddenly I found that the central lock is missing the main objective. With the central lock on anyone from inside can open the door and no one from Ford can justify this flaw. I have two kids so safety is of utmost concern. That said Ecosport is a great car to drive and somehow the other two SUVs cannot attract us. With the appealing display of the new Amaze in the auto Expo 2018, we all fall in love and the wait was over when we test drive the diesel Amaze, its experience amazing. Still, we waited for some months for the actual on-road reviews and finally got the delivery on 28th September 2018. We have done some great trips starting from 150+ Kms (Chandannagar West Bengal to Bankura/Asansol/Deoghar/ Puri) and finally to Kanpur (1006 KMS one way) along with family nonstop with only food and loo breaks. We drive windows up and AC on in any weather and we get a pretty average in the range of 23 - 25 km/Litre depending on the driving. For the Kanpur trip, it was 24.5 Km/Litre. The point which I should mention that not a single member of the family was uncomfortable in any of those long highway trips including myself as the driver. I am keeping aside the normal city trips which are a day to day affair with an average in the vicinity of 18-20 KMPL depending on the driving. Now 6 Months/ 10000 Km done and the service cost involves engine oil and filter change costing only Rs. 2393. Long story cut short the new Amaze along with the diesel burner is a killer combination for both city roads and long highways with excellent suspension and drivability. Halogen headlights are not an issue even on highways, it is quietly powerful and has a long beam. Having said all the good things about the new Amaze it too has some flaws like diesel engine noise (although very much refined and less noisy than the previous version) and lastly all Honda dealers and service centers are not equally good from my personal experience - booking to delivery and then providing after-sales service.

- Amazing PackageOverall, a very nice car with Good Ride Quality with all Advanced features like Automatic Climate Control, Engine Start Stop Button, Rear Defogger. Decent Mileage. - Honda Amaze The Big MoveHonda Amaze the big move supports best in a class spacious cabin and legroom which is comfortable for a family of 4 -5. Boot space is best in the segment and very useful while traveling with family or huge luggage. The engine is reliable and punchy but sometimes feels less powerful when running on full AC or with a full load. But that can be managed given the safety features, and NCAP rating of 4. - Worst Experience As My First CarI want to share my views about the Honda Amaze VX CVT petrol, top model, purchased on Jan 2021. Pros- 1. Good looking cars in this segment, 2. The end of the bonnet is clearly visible, so it makes driving easy. 3, Mileage is average, not good 12-13kmpl in the city, 15-16 on the highway with AC, Cons- Poor build quality, no insulation for bonnet and dicky, tin quality is poor, CVT transmission is worst in low speed, no pick up at low speed. Not responsive while overtake. seating comfort is worst, very bad thigh support for a tall passenger like me, I'm 6.1 feet tall, rear-seat space also less, no backup light for steering buttons, window control buttons, will find difficult at night drive, music quality is average. Very soft suspension- makes too much body roll, especially rear passenger overall it's not fun to drive a car, especially CVT engine.और देखें6 1
- Do Not Buy Honda Amaze If You Care About ThisPlease do not buy Honda Amaze - any words are less to criticize this fraud car - the average mileage is only 12 kmpl. The company says the city average is low. The music interface system is Dabba also has no GPS, have to download a nonsense pale dead app on your phone to connect to the system.और देखें4 5
