The Aston Martin Vantage V8  Sport has a two-door two-seat body style. The body is made of aluminium, magnesium alloy composite and steel. There are extruded aluminium door side-impact beams. The Aston Martin V8 Vantage Sport also gets halogen projector headlamps as the main beam. It also has high intensity discharge headlamps as dipped beams. The car has LED rear tail lamps. The length of the models is 4382 mm and 1866 mm wide excluding the mirrors. Including the mirrors it is 2022 mm wide. The height is 1260 mm and the wheelbase is 2601 mm. The Aston Martin V8 Vantage has a boot capacity of 300 litres. The fuel tank capacity is 80 litres and the car weighs 1630 kg.

Interiors

The Aston Martin Vantage V8 Sport houses full grain leather interiors with gunmetal alloy fascia trims and graphite center console finish and leather sports steering wheel with electronically adjustable sports seats with side airbags. Present in the car are dual stage driver and passenger airbags and power-fold exterior heated mirrors , heated rear screen, automatic climate control, organic electroluminescent displays, trip computer, rear parking sensors and tyre pressure monitoring systems. The car also gets an alarm and immobiliser with remote control central locking and boot release. The vantage has a glass ECU and LED reading lights and cruise control. There is a Bluetooth telephone preparation.

Engine & Performance

The Aston Martin Vantage V8 Sport  has an all alloy quad overhead camshaft with 32 valve – 4735cc V8 engine . This is a rear wheel drive engine. It also has a fully catalysed stainless steel exhaust system with active bypass valves. The compression ratio on this beast is 11.3:1.The V8 vantage has a rear-mid mounted 6-speed manual transmission as well as a sport-shift 6-speed automated manual transmission available as an option. All variants have an alloy torque tube with carbon fibre propeller shaft and limited slip differential.The car does 0-100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds . The top speed of these models is 290 kmph. The Aston Martin V8 Vantage has a city mileage of 5 kmpl and offers 8 kmpl on the highway .

Comfort

It has an integrated Apple i-pod connector . There is a USB connector with waveform audio format (WAF), windows media player (WMA) and MPEG (MP3) audio file compatibility. The system also has a 3.5 mm auxiliary input socket .

Safety & Handling

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage is steered by a rack and pinion, power assisted steering. It does 3.0 turns lock to lock. The steering column has a tilt and its reach is adjustable. The front suspensions on the Aston Martin V8 Vantage are independent double wishbone incorporating anti-dive geometry, coil springs, anti-roll bar and mono tube dampers. The rear suspension is an independent double wish bone with anti-squat and anti-lift geometry, coil springs, anti-roll bar and mono tube dampers.The brakes at the front of the V8 vantage are 355 mm with four piston Monobloc callipers and ventilated as well as grooved steel discs. The rear gets ventilated and grooved 330 mm steel discs with four piston Monobloc callipers. The car gets ABS with EBD, emergency brake assist and traction control. The car also has dynamic stability control with TRACK mode and also has a positive torque control.
