I purchased i 10 Magna model in 2010 and switched over to i10 from Tata Indica Petrol, which I used for almost 3 years. I drove i10 for almost 7.5 years before I went for S cross. Since, I was switching over to i10 from Indica, by all means this car gave me a great experience compared to Indica. Pros : Almost Nil break down maintenance, apart from regular routine services at regular intervals. The average costing was reasonably low between 2.5 k to 3 k. Engine remained intact ( I run for 1.5 Lac KM) and absolutely there was no issue. Though compact, offered good leg space. Smooth driving in the city roads and traffic. Excellent Pick up. Seats were quite comfortable though it is not a luxury car. Battery I replaced only twice in 7.5 years. Cons : A.C. had a problems for 3 to 4 times and at once I had to replace complete AC due to compressor failure after 7 years. Headlights were not powerful enough for Highway driving. Wipers did not have intermittent mode of operation, hence caused scratches to glass. Suspension quality was poor. Conclusion : Overall, a complete Hatchback car, very low maintenance, good milage, all the basic features one needs like A.C., heater, power steering, all four power windows and central locking system at affordable price and I would say, i10 model was a good car, which is now replaced with grand i 10 with much features.

What to say and where to start. i10 is my first car, on which I have started learning driving in 2014. Best thing about the car is its Steering module. It is effortless and easy to drive even in heavy traffic or on highways. Due to its compact design and light steering it is very easy to drive in narrowest city roads and park any where. Next best thing about this car is its pickup on city roads. As it is powered with 1.2L Kappa petrol engine, driving on crowded city roads or near traffic signals would be lot easier. As the engine churns sufficient torq to pull. Even is the case on highways. We can easily touch 120 Kmph without much noise in the engine nor vibration. But ideal speed to experience a smooth drive would be 100 kmph. Coming to the comfort, as it is a hatch back it four people can travel comfortably. Five people would be difficult to travel long distances in this vehicle. Front seats are ok, but if provided with head rest it would have been a good option. Cushioning in the rear seat is just average. While travelling long distances on this would cause some discomfort. On the whole cushioning at the could have been a bit better. Coming to leg room as it is hatch model, we couldn't as for more. But if a couple of cms were added to the rear leg room it would have been lot better. As when the front seats are moved back ward, person with average height of 5'8" will also have slight discomfort. Coming to cons about this car are: Breaking. At higher speeds breaking seems to be slippery. So we need to be a bit more cautious while driving at higher speeds(greater than 100). For city driving it is ok, but breaking should have been improved a lot when driving at higher speeds. Next worst thing is the service. All the hyundai service centres are worst. They just wash our car and give us the bill. Spares are too expensive compared to other brands. Even if they are expensive, if the spares are of good quality and we can afford. Bu they are not worth that much price. If pricing is high they need to maintain some quality in their products too. Apart from the above 2 things breaking and service everything seems ok till date. Note: I am not an expert rider nor reviewer. These are only my views based on my driving experience.

I am a proud owner of this car for last 7 years. i am 67 years old retired professional. this is the 7th car i am using now. i get a very happy sense of driving a safe car when i enter into it. On long drive my wife and others keep telling me you need to slow down because of your age, but i feel very confident with this car, i enjoy driving it. so far i have not faced any need for on road assistance in my travels within city or outside. it's music system is still strong and keeps me company all the time. the pick of the car is amazing and thus very helpful during the city drive to access the places i want. it's interior are still in tact in good condition. although i have never kept a watch on mileage but i feel i get the due . The suspension is strong and takes care of unknown bumps and jerks i get while driving in unknown terrain. i am planning to change my car but i am not feeling confident about which car would be so dependable hence kept on postponing decision since last years. i am like to get a good resale price , when i checked it through car Bazar. my children are pressing me to retain this car even if i buy a new one. so far i have faced no problem with front and tail lights by way of being hit by others as happened quite a few times with my earlier cars and had to pay for costly replacements. i am also considering buying new grand i 10 but the looks of other cars in market are attracting me. thus i may say that Hundai need to bring in some new car look.also the cost of annual maintenance at Hundai garage need to be less for loyal customers.

Hyundai i10 has cool car the hatchback market in India since it's launch. I am quite satisfied with its performance. The entry level hatch i10 is decent in terms of comfort and looks and as far as the price point is concerned. I was very impressed with its dynamic looks and upmarket interiors with facilities of saftey feature for the driver and passenger. Hyundai i10, despite being a hatchback is quite spacious and we 3 fatty adults were able to fit in quite comfortably in the backseat. Being a car enthusiast, I can pretty well state that the car is fair in terms of ride quality and handling. Right from the first test drive till today, I can say it could easily give Maruti Swift, a run for their money. But there are some weak points. According to me, when it comes to power capability, an 1.1cc engine is not sufficient for six adult passengers, so a more powerful engine would be an added advantage.

One of the best available hot hatches in India. Hyundai has been providing top quality cars for the best prices. My only concern is the mileage of the car, which drops to 9 KMPL while driving in the city. The looks of the car are aggressive. The interior provides comfort and usability. The location of the gear changer is just perfect, which makes changing gears easy. The hand reaches out straight to the gear shifter. Speedwise, I topped my car at about 160 beyond which I was scared to go. The pickup of the car is good and the gears are perfectly ratioed. The 1.1L Magna is perfect for everything. It has power windows and ORVMs, allowing me to adjust my mirrors from the inside of the car with a simple controller. The boot space available is enough for any long road trip that you might take in this car. It holds upto 3 large suitcases which was ideal for me. The seats are also comfortable allowing 3 passengers at the back seat. The air conditioning is quick which helps alot during summer.
