Mercedes-Benz GLS is available with two engine options - 3.0-litre petrol and a 3.0-litre diesel engine that makes 333bhp and 258bhp, respectively. Both engines come mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The petrol engine delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 8.9 kmpl while the diesel engine has a bit better claimed figures at 11 kmpl.
