Hyundai Motors has rolled out their much awaited hatchback, Elite i20 in the automobile market. This time around, the company has opted for new marketing strategy for this facelifted version by filming an action packed TVC. In this advertisement, we can see its efficiency, ride quality and its ability to deal with sharp curves. At the same time, we can also see that it is quite easy to drive this hatch in smaller streets. The car maker has rolled out this 2014 version with petrol and diesel engine options for the buyers to choose from. The petrol versions sports a 1.2-litre, Kappa VTVT engine that is capable of producing 81.9bhp of maximum power and 114.7Nm of peak torque. While the diesel versions have been equipped with the second generation 1.4-litre diesel engine that can belt out 88.8bhp of commanding power and 219.7Nm of superior torque. Both these engines have been mated with five speed manual transmission gearbox. This refurbished version comes with an array of comfort features including a fully automatic AC unit, glove box chiller, rear parking sensors along with a camera and an electrochromic inside rear view mirror. At the same time, all the variants are now available with smart pedal as standard, which helps in improving fuel efficiency by cutting of fuel supply, when not required. This latest variant also comes with refined exteriors and interiors, which has changed its entire look. It will now lock horns with the likes of Maruti Swift, Volkwagen Polo, Renault Pulse, Nissan Micra and the upcoming Tata Bolt as well.
