    Though you can take Mahindra Thar on long routes as it is offered with both petrol and diesel engine where the petrol engine is a new 2.0-litre turbocharged unit (unveiled at Auto Expo 2020) rated at 150PS and 300Nm (MT)/320Nm (AT), while the diesel engine is a 2.2-litre unit that makes 130PS and 300Nm. There won't be any lag in the performance but as its more into the off-road segment somewhere, you will need to compromise with the comfort because of its stiff ride quality.
