What about the engine and transmission of the Land Rover Discovery?

The Discovery gets three engines: a 2-litre petrol (300PS/400Nm), a 3-litre petrol (360PS/500Nm), and a 3-litre diesel (300PS/650Nm). Both the 3-litre engines get a mild-hybrid tech. All three engines are offered with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Discovery Metropolitan Edition gets the choice of a 3-litre diesel unit and a 3-litre turbo-petrol with mild hybrid tech.
