Could Have Been Better SUV
This SUV has received a lot of hype, but if you don't opt for the top model, you may be left disappointed. Even after spending a significant amount, around 23 lakhs, for the AX5 Diesel model, you will miss out on several basic features that are offered by many cars priced under 10 lakhs. For example, a reverse parking camera, auto-folding side-view mirrors, and a push-start button are absent. Additionally, there are some issues with the manual transmission clutch system, as it tends to burn out easily in simple traffic conditions (mine burned twice within 1,000 kilometres), resulting in costly repairs. However, the SUV does have a stunning appearance and performs exceptionally well on highways, providing an enjoyable driving experience with good control. The booster headlights that activate when you exceed the speed limit are a thoughtful addition. The infotainment cluster is also impressive, although the sky roof lags during opening and closing. Overall, it is a decent SUV that could have been improved further.
