I purchased this elegant beast on November of 2011 and been using it till date. What a car, nothing to not like about it . Mine is a diesel engine first variant, back then it cost us about 14.80L. Mine is a base model, so it came with abs ebd, a digitally controlled ac, 4 good speakers and that's about it. Later on I did the cosmetic changes in the interiors, gave it a full touch stereo, a reverse camera, leather covers, mud flaps, floor mats, etc. Having them installed without having the warranty be affected. This cars engine is supreme, it has great pick up goes about 170 on highway, the car gives you a sense of command of the streets while on the steering wheel. It has great suspension, my car today has completed about 177921 kms in about seven years, and only once did I have to fix it's suspension(yes that cost a bomb,but totally worth it), while my driving has majorly been on rugged roads of Mumbai to Bhiwandi and beyond, it has performed really well on the highway, mileage wise, control wise, and speed wise. When you accelerate, the engine has a punch and you can feel it and you know this machine can be a beautiful beast if required. Let's talk about the mileage, mileage to date is about 14km/l highway and 12km/l city . While I've replaced it's break pads twice , it wasn't cheap but not as high as Skoda either. Pretty reasonable . You can always rely on Toyota for it's premium product delivery, yes Toyota is old school in terms of the interior feature list , but you know they say old is gold . The design of Toyota It's called minimalist yet supreme . After this car I'm sure to invest money again in Toyota only , it impresses with it's engine , suspension,mileage,low maintenance,safety . Anyone thinking to buy the new Corolla Altis , although it has become quite expensive now . But if you're one of those who doesn't mind paying for quality and safety , then go for this car , it's a no brainier. It will take care of you in your highs (highway's) & lows (city).
