Toyota Etios - Reliable Family Sedan

Toyota, the Japanese auto giant introduced the Etios sedan back in the year 2011, the vehicle has always been known for its reliable, efficient and practical nature. Toyota Etios is the first car that has been developed by the manufacturer mainly for the subcontinent. While in the beginning, sales were quite good but as the time passed and the advent of new subcompact players, its sales charts started to drop despite an update every year. So, to keep up the pace, Toyota launched the Etios 2016 with prominent changes inside and out. As Toyota is known for its reliability and terrific after sales service, I decided to buy this new model known as Toyota Etios Platinum. The car carries the same body shell as the outgoing model while its front fa�ade gets strikingly different makeover. The bumper has been redesigned, V-shaped radiator grille with black inserts and large air-intakes change the overall appearance. At the rear, bumper gets slight revision and the lower portion has been worked upon. Cabin receives changes such as reworked seats for better comfort draped with new upholstery, redesigned instrument cluster, the dashboard is finished with grey and Ivory dual tone theme. However, the touchscreen infotainment is still missing which is kind of drawback. Even lower segment cars have touchscreen functionality. Safety features include dual front airbags, ISOFIX mounts with new addition of ABS with EBD. There are certainly no changes under the hood, Etios is powered by the same 1.5L, petrol mill that generates the power output of 90PS and peak torque of 132Nm. I chose the 1.4L 68PS diesel engine which was better in terms of mileage. Now Etios feels more appealing than before and which will positively attract a number of buyers. It's a reliable sedan that won't let you frequently visit the service center.
