Renault Captur - Some Likes And Dislikes

I went to Renault showroom in Bangalore to check out the Captur. Sharing some of the things I like about the Renault Captur in the hope that it will help some of you who plan to buy this SUV. Stylish looks: The Captur looks stylish from outside. The front part looks the best. The LED headlamps, daytime running lamps and LED tail lights are gorgeous. Plus it's got those dynamic turn indicators like you see in Audi Car's. I also like that design of the 17-inch alloy wheels. Looks quite sporty. Not so great inside: Okay, the Platine variant looks nice but the white bits in the upholstery could get soiled in our weather conditions. The plastics are hard to touch and interior fit and finish also don't feel like that of a premium car. Even the new Hyundai Verna has more premium features like ventilated seats, sunroof, Arkamys sound system, etc at the same price point. Note that the glove box looks big until you open it and it's literally half the size. Safety features: ABS, airbags aside, the top spec Renault Captur even has side airbags so I will give some marks to Renault for that. No Apple CarPlay: Captur's infotainment system looks like an improvised version of the Duster's. But it doesn't have Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Why? For today's millennials that's such an important feature. No automatic: Oh C'mon Renault! Gone are the days of the stick shift. Please launch an automatic version of the Captur as well. Price: The Captur will do well only if Renault prices it lesser than the Creta. Let's wait for the launch to know the prices.
