Engine's Intermediate Power Range Is Weak

Grand Vitara accelerates linearly because the three-cylinder engine's intermediate power range is weak, and as the revs are raised, the engine becomes noisy. The intended driving style is relaxed. Three driving modes, Sport, Normal, and Eco, are offered by the Grand Vitara's full hybrid system. The latter two modes have a slight advantage over the former, although the sport does feel a little more lively overall.
