I am the owner of Maruti Baleno delta diesel and have driven the car more than 55,0000 kms. The car has good mileage, it gives 22 to 25.5 KMPL mileage with a comfortable drive for every passenger. I have to take my car to off-road once due to road closures, but car behaves well as it has good ground clearance. It is very spacious and loaded with all the required features in the best rates available in the market in this segment. Maruti Baleno aerodynamic are also very good, it has a very good AC and music system. I have spent very nominal expenses till now for the maintenance excluding service cost. Shortcomings in Car: Car body has a very thin sheet, the Interior quality of plastic is also bad, Service cost is also very high. Maruti is charging 7k on average per service cost which includes Semi-synthetic oil change, filter changes and labor cost. Labor cost is around 4K which includes normal labor, calibration pin and intercooler activity. Good Breaking system is lacking in this car and required more space for stopping of the car. Price variance between Petrol and Diesel model is very high, it was 1.4 Lacs when I purchased the car, It should be around 80k to 100k as high price also attract high insurance and RTO charges.
