Baleno Delta - Petrol

Last year when, I was looking for a premium hatchback and decided to go for the Baleno Petrol. I bought maruti baleno Delta petrol around one month back and till now i drove approx. 1500 km. My total experience was great and i recommend everyone to buy this car. Baleno is really a premium class car fitted with all necessary safety , luxury, and gagets these features earlier used to come in premium sedan cars. after having test drives Baleno, Jazz & i 20 my clear choice was Baleno. I'll rate this car on 5 parameters.i would like to elaborate step by step about my experience on 5 or 6 parameters:Features - This is unquestionably the vital USP of Baleno over its rivals. It comes with features never heard in this segment like, UV protection glasses, Apple CarPlay supports and others. Even in terms of safety, Baleno comes standard with dual-front airbags and ABS with EBD. crash test agency's tests, Baleno only scored 3-star rating.Mileage - The new lightweight chassis has helped the Baleno to extract more kilometers per litre using the powertrains from the Swift. The petrol gives a certified mileage of over 15 kmpl in city traffic while on highways petrol engine returns more than 20 kmpl. moreover in Diesel alsoYou get around 20 kmpl in the city with diesel and 26 kmpl in highways what ever is your driving style.Performance - Maruti Baleno is a very nice car in terms of performance, very smooth to drive and very good in terms of road holding capability. The petrol noise doesn't filter much inside the car. The 5-speed manual transmission is very good thing, I later realised that I should have bought a car with a 6-speed transmission, Baleno has 83 bhp. The ride is quite comfortable and plush and the Baleno gives me good mileage, but then it lacks punch. however i feel little bit less in power Value-For-Money Proposition - The vehicle undercuts prices of two of its arch rivals: the Elite i20 and the Honda Jazz by a sizeable amount. And it also comes with dual-front airbags along with ABS and EBD as standard. Plus it also offers a lot of segment first features. So, in my perception, it offers the maximum value-money proposition in this segment.Service Availability - Maruti has the widest network of service outlet in the country and a lot of happy customers. Moreover, there were also reports suggesting separate service outlets for the Nexa vehicle. So, the future seems secure for me.Dimentions: on the basis of Dimensions as compare to it rivals like Jazz and i 20 baleno seems much better. exterier and interiers are really great. if you see width of are it is 1745 mm which is highest in this segment not only this boot space is 339 ltrs which is much higher then i20 and even Maruti Dezire. Ground clearence is very much important in roads like Delhi and Ghaziabad and Baleno also scores over i20 & Jazz or any other in this segment.over all this is an awesome car in premium hatchback segment.
