When we talk about SUV's in India, Mahindra is a well known brand and none other than the old hulk "Scorpio" is the old and gold deal. Considering the performance as well as features in this segment and in this price range is the best. Fuel economy: 15-16 km/l combined Fuel tank capacity: 60 L Dimensions: 4,456 mm L x 1,820 mm W x 1,930-1,995 mm H Seating capacity: 7, 8, 9 Engine: 2.2 L 4-cylinder diesel, 2.5 L 4-cylinder diesel producing 140bhp@3750rpm and 320Nm@1500-2800rpm of torque. New variant with AWD will also be launched soon within INR 14 lakhs, which would further include features like cruise control and all wheel drive. Definatley you could check the reviews on drive qualty an more in depth and technical reviews. I'm using this car since 2008(old model) and 2014 (facelifted Model) and they both are so powerfull and reliable and practical in every aspect.
