Awesome car but poor mileage

I purchased i10 era 1.1 model 4 years back. It has run almost 30000 km in the years gone by. The feeling of drive quality is awesome. I had test drive many cars. But none has the smooth gear shift that i10 has had. Maintenance is not high. Space is moderate. Sufficient for 5 passengers. Pick up & speed is mind blowing which is very important in highways. Mileage in highways are almost 17 when AC is on. But in city it is around 10-11 when AC is on.
